Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant (12 month fixed term contract)
As an Accountant, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial operations and high quality reporting. You will be responsible for the preparation of:

• General journal entries
• Reconciliation of financial and bank statements
• Verification and accuracy of financial data

This position is well suited for candidates with experience in general accounting or accounts payable operations, especially within commercial, industrial, or public sector environments.

It offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and gain valuable exposure within a dynamic finance team.
What you will be working on


You will support the monthly closing process and handle day to day accounting activities in NAV, such as:

• Cash bookings
• Expense note approval and import into NAV for payment
• Monthly accruals, deferrals and reclassifications
• Non periodic and monthly salary entries
• Daily and monthly bank transactions
• Preparation of prepaid expenses
• Account reconciliation and general accounting tasks
• Month end cash reconciliation and cash flow reporting
• Monthly reconciliation of intercompany operations

You will also support financial reporting activities:
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual CSSF reporting

And assist the Accounts Payable team when needed:
• Preparation of payments

Other responsibilities include:

• Contributing to finance projects (automation, process improvements)
• Supporting internal and external audit processes

What we look for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Around 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within commercial, industrial, or public sector organizations
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, local tax rules, and legislation
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
• A critical and solution oriented mindset
• A collaborative working style
• Fluency in English (French is a strong asset)
