Job Description:
Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Analyst (SQA) in collaboration with the Quality at the Source (QATS) Engineer for their supply lane to execute activities aiming to ensure that all supplied components within their portfolio of regional suppliers are ready to use when reaching internal or external customers.
The Supplier Quality Analyst is the primary point of contact both internally and externally for all activities related to Quality at their suppliers. They will answer all quality related inquiries and will enhance the compliance to Husky's qualification standards (i.e., re-qualify existing suppliers).
The Supplier Quality Analyst will monitor suppliers' performance, organize, and execute Supplier Audits, follow-up on Supplier Improvement Plans and execute Part Qualifications.
In collaboration with the Clinic team, the Supplier Quality Analyst will support root cause analysis & permanent corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
Define & execute supplier surveillance audit plans to maintain or re-qualify existing suppliers according to latest Husky standards.
Define supplier improvement plans, follow-up on action implementation and effectiveness at suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance & proactively act or react accordingly.
Manage Part Qualifications for their suppliers.
Participate in Andon & Clinic activities related to their suppliers.
Support and verify execution of containment actions at suppliers.
Support execution of containment actions at Supplier
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis and Permanent Corrective Action determination and follow-up on implementation at supplier.
Partner with stakeholders for execution of Andon/Clinic tasks outside of direct area of responsibilities
Support new supplier qualification.
Participate in the continuous improvement of methods & standard of Supply Chain Quality Management System
Qualifications and Skills:
Engineering, Supplier Audit Certification is preferred.
5 years' Quality/Project Management/Supply Chain experience: technical, supply chain or operations role with process development
Strong Quality background required. Good understanding of Quality needs (e.g., what internal/external suppliers provide, what customers expect, and what performance measurement metrics are)
Understanding of tools and processes related to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); ability to facilitate sessions with partners.
Good technical understanding of Supplier's manufacturing, assembly, logistic processes - be able to evaluate sound of a process even without having a deep technical knowledge. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and define corrective action.
Ability to apply an analytical, process-oriented approach to solving problems across a variety of situations and activities.
Ownership, accountability, and confidence to take decisions. Be able to ability to work in ambiguity.
Strong project and change management skills.
Hands-on data collection and analysis skills, with a high attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with a willingness to change, flexibility and learning agility.
Excellent problem-solving skills and tenacity to drive the resolution to conclusion.
Understanding of lean principles to enhance quality process design and operations.
Understands the need and benefit of Quality Assurance
Understanding of ISO Quality Management System requirements & business/industry standards
Excellent written and spoken command of English and German, additional languages are a plus.
Audit capabilities, Audit skill & knowledge, good relationship skills
Good understanding of Husky's product design, standards, and manufacturing technologies for a wide range of product types; process engineering can be generic/agnostic of product.
Travel required at Supplier (25%)
