One of the best places to be with extreme heat in Luxembourg is Musée de l'Ardoise in Martelange. The temperature inside the slate mines is around 9 degrees throughout the year! Yes, you read that right. So, get ready for a great family adventure – and yes, you should probably bring a jacket :)
The Museum offers guided tours as well as entertaining and educational workshops themed around slate.

5. Go for a fun ride with pedal boats in Lake Echternach
Being close to the water always helps when the weather is very warm, so why not enjoy a ride with the pedal boats you can find by Pier75 in Lake Echternach?
Children will love the place, and there are also some nice playgrounds with shade to enjoy.
