1. New indoor playground Spilly Luxembourg opens at City Concorde

Spilly, as imagined by its creators, will be a place where children can dream, imagine, role play, learn, and above all have fun.

It is expected to open at the end of January 2026, on a surface of more than 700 m². The concept is based on a mini city, offering activities and experiences for children aged 0 to 11 years old.

Children will be able to try many real-life professions, such as firefighter, doctor, hairdresser, restaurant owner, and more.

3. Indoor surf at Hotel Van der Valk, Arlon, Belgium

An indoor surfing facility has just opened at Hotel Van der Valk in Arlon, Belgium, and is already attracting many visitors.

While Luxembourg might feel a million miles away from the seaside, the new centre means visitors can surf 365 days a year, adapting their levels from beginner to advanced depending on experience. Children are very welcome to try out the sport and make use of the facilities.

The teams at Van der Valk and Surflux have also created a beautiful space with a lounge for those who just want to watch the surfing and enjoy different snacks and drinks.
