Following a route through the museum grounds and the impressive Johanna underground mine, located 42 metres below the surface, visitors will move from one location to another, discovering a series of musical performances in a truly unique setting.
Between sky and stone, light and darkness, industrial heritage and artistic expression, the voices of the Ensemble Vocal du Luxembourg will resonate through the underground galleries as well as on the surface, creating a remarkable immersive experience.
The exceptional acoustics of the galleries will enhance the beauty of the vocal performances. Additional musical moments on the surface will further enrich this artistic and heritage experience.
This musical promenade offers a rare opportunity to rediscover the former slate mine from a completely new perspective, where heritage, music, and emotion come together. A unique event for lovers of choral music, history, and industrial heritage alike. More details here.
