The best place to enjoy science in Luxembourg with children will be open on May 1. The Science Center of Luxembourg is basically open every day, weekend and holidays included. The only 3 days that it is closed is on 25 and 26 December & January 1. Just perfect!!
During the week the LSC is open from 9 am to 5 pm. On weekends and public holidays the LSC is open from 10 am to 6 pm.

If there was a favorite family park in Luxembourg, it would most probably be the Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg. It is open daily from 9:30 am to 7 pm and will be open on May 1 2023. This year, in case you did not know, you can also have an overnight stay at the park.

The recreation complex Ardennes Terre d’Aventures will be open on May 1 2023. A park in the middle of the French Ardennes, the kingdom of fairies, with lovely playgrounds and mazes and many different thematic areas.
It features 3 parcs: Le Corsaire Volant (a huge pirate ship) and the Wi-Splash (an aquaparc located on the lake Vieilles Forges) and the dreamy Elfy Park which is home to one of the giants by the Danish artist Thomas Dambo.

For all theme park lovers, this all-time favourite will be open on May 1 from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. If you and your kids are in need of a little bit of adrenaline, that need will be well addressed there as the parc does not lack an exciting roller coaster.

Another lovely and nearby theme park, well-suited for younger children this is located in Belgium. It will be open on May 1 2023 from 10:30 am to 5:30 am.
Located in an idyllic spot in the forest next to the beautiful Coo waterfalls, Plopsa Coo features 25 attractions, many friendly restaurants and family venues. Only approximately 1.5h from the border, it’s not too far for a one-day trip.

The Greater Region is home to many family theme parks and the Eifelpark is one of the most visted and beloved of them. On 1 May it will be open from 10am to 5pm. A brand new family show called Skillz will await you in the forest theatre.

If you have not yet visited the Aquatower Berdorf with the magnificent views and the lovely water playground now it is your chance to do so. The Aquatower will be open on 1 May from 2 to 6 pm. Addionally anyone can sign up for the guided tour at 3 pm. Here the price is 8€ for adults and 5€ for youths between 7 and 18 years.

In case you weren’t aware, yes, there is a strawberry museum in our area that will be open on 1 May from 11 am to 6 pm.
The Strawberry museum has also a berry garden with many varieties of strawberries, vines, an orchard, hives, native and exotic species.
The charming museum immerses you in in the centuries-old history of strawberries and offers guided tours, temporary exhibitions, events, entertainment and many other things.

For the 15th anniversary of this very cool science centre, the entrance fee has been reduced to 5€ from 30 April to 1 May.
Enjoy their permanent exhibition on physics and movement and so much more on a beautiful location, right next to a lake.

The butterfly garden in Grevenmacher is the ideal place for lovers of nature and its beauties. The tropical garden is over 600 sqaure meters and you can admire hundreds of exotic butterflies. While it will be open on 1 May, a lot of people are expected you should reserve your tickets online for 10.50€ to avoid any disappointment.

Situated in the heart of an industrialised district of Charleroi, this beautiful residence dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries and it’s one of the 32 castes in Wallonia that will be free of charge for 1 May.
