Emily Cooper's mom WhatsApp group blossomed during Covid and now supports over 1,700 parents across Luxembourg.
Mom Life in Luxembourg is a new parenting podcast made for all English speaking parents here in Luxembourg. From crèches to crémant, we'll cover everything you need to know about raising kids and living your best life in the Grand Duchy.

In this episode of Mom Life in Luxembourg, I chat with the incredible Emily Cooper, otherwise known across social media as the content creator, @millenial_mom_banter. Emily has such a 'Luxembourg' story. She's originally British, but moved to Belgium when she was four. She speaks perfect English with a British accent and perfect French too!
Her family moved to Luxembourg a few years later, where she finished her secondary school before heading off to University in the UK. Emily shares her story of how she never felt quite "British enough," but also didn't feel Belgian either.
As a child, that felt uncomfortable, but now she considers herself a citizen of the world and appreciates her global upbringing as one of her greatest assets!
Fast forward to a couple years ago. She married and decided to settle down in Luxembourg, but all her childhood friends either left or they had grown apart, so she had to start fresh. She met her best friend from a random post in the Ladies in Luxembourg Facebook group.
They were both having babies during Covid and craving community, so they decided to start a WhatsApp group for new moms. Fast forward two years, and her group has blossomed into a thriving community with over 1,700 followers!
The community supports moms of all ages and stages of their parenting journey. Emily shares what this community means to her and how it has positively impacted her life.
We also talk about how being a mom inspired a new passion, which is "future proofing" for her daughter, and working towards creating a life that's ready for whatever comes next.
