Steps and Meredith were joined in the RTL Today Radio studio by International Bazar President Carmen Decalf to talk about why this year’s edition could be the best one yet.
Carmen spoke about her journey of getting into the Bazar many years ago as a student volunteer. She explains that she’s always felt it was important to give to others and help those who are less fortunate.
“If you are giving or if you try to give a lot [...] you receive so much back. The smile of people happy to have the opportunity to have vocational training or to have food or to have methods to improve their agriculture [...]It’s so much we receive back when we have this happiness. “
Carmen told Meredith and Steps that the feeling of giving back keeps her energetic and motivated.
