Found yourself dozing off or daydreaming while on the loo? That could soon be a hazy memory of the past if StandardToilet’s new toilets take off in businesses around the world. Developers at StandardToilet have spent a lot of time figuring out how to cut toilet breaks. Apparently, tilting toilets by 13 degrees is the Goldilocks solution to making the experience uncomfortable without causing pain!
The tilt causes leg strain after five minutes, thus incentivising employees to get off their butts and get moving (or back on their butts - but at their desks). StandardToilet’s analysis has shown that employees spend an average of 10 minutes a day on the toilet, but this crucial period can be cut down by 25% if companies shell out for the specially-tilted toilets.
And how much do these charming toilets cost? Between €176 and €558 ($196 and $654). Don’t you just love the endless pursuit for productivity? As a fun reminder, elsewhere a pub in Wales plans to install anti-sex toilets.
