First trailer for “The Last of Us” Season 2, features the return of Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
“After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.” So reads HBO Max' official logline.
Those of us that have played through the two full-length games AND the additional stories, this trailer hits emotions HARD. For those how have only watched the 14-time EMMY award-wining show's first season, you are in for a treat...or an extremely difficult viewing experience.

To give too much of the plot away would be wrong, safe to say, it's not the infected that our protagonists need worry about, with threats lurking under much more familiar guises.
The incredible game (from Naughty Dog) threw at its players morally complex plotting and asked the question "in a survive at all costs scenario, what defines 'good and 'evil'?"
“The Last of Us” is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. Both have also directed episodes of the show and will do so again in Season 2.
Currently the series is set to air early 2025. More than enough time to play through the games, and re-watch the first series.
