Peer into the popular, unusual, and now cinematic dining experience of Dans le Noir?, as Today Radio's Melissa Dalton sits down with Emilie Vuillemin to discuss the Kirchberg location’s upcoming screening of acclaimed Chilean sex scandal film 'Blanquita'.

Today Radio's Melissa Dalton sat down last Friday with Emilie Vuillemin, Project Manager of Luxembourg's branch of Dans le Noir?, to discuss the venue's upcoming, second film screening.

Dans le Noir?, which opened in Kirchberg in November 2022, offers a unique sensory experience every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night where diners can discover a 100% surprise menu in complete darkness served by visually impaired guides. They've now teamed up with film distributor Tarantula to also bring a film followed by dinner. On Thursday 10 August they will present acclaimed Chilean drama 'Blanquita' (2022).

Melissa and Emilie discuss the conviviality, human experience, and inclusivity that are hallmarks of the Dans le Noir? experience, along with the innovative, seasonal and surprising meals at the heart of the experience -- and the shared relationship of "darkness" between cinema and Dans le Noir?.

Listen in to hear what effects this sensory experience can have and about the carefully chosen gourmet menu prepared by chef Christophe Mannebach.
