We have lift off (someone please send me coffee and sleeping pills) to go until RTL Today radio launches.. we thought we'd introduce the team!
RTL Today Radio - our very own web radio - launched today, and we are all ridiculously nervcited*. The radio will be an extension of RTL Today not only in name, but in basically every other way as well. We'll play a mix of music old and new, with emphasis on up-and-coming acts, local talent, and whatever tickles our presenters fancy. And there'll be games, chat, interviews, news.. you name it!
Your favourite RTL Today team members (so that would, I'm assuming, be all of us) will also feature on the radio. New-to-us-but-known-to-and-loved-by-all-in-the-greater-region Sam Steen will take us through the morning hours, and then Stephen 'Steps' Lowe (he of the fantastic weather updates) will keep us company through lunch. Come the afternoon, improv comedian and radio host extraordinaire Melissa Dalton will take over the reins**.
But wait, there's more! The ridiculously lovable Lisa Burke will host a weekly news and interview show. AND your neighbourhood stickler and terror of live tickers Martin Jonsson will do a weekly 'poetry' feature (and, if he*** gets his way, other silly and inane rubbish at regular intervals throughout the week).
