This conference, then, discusses community media's challenges in the year of 2020 with three short presentations, a panel discussion on the new legislation, and keyenote speeches from international experts, policy makers and scientists. As we go through an unprecedented health and economic crisis, some crucial questions become even more pressing: is it still possible to "cure" our planet and our societies by making our economic and social models more sustainable? Are we willing to do it and to pay the price that it entails?

These are some of the questions raised by the 'Planting the future' exhibition, which brings together the work of several photographers, mainly from Eastern Europe. The selected projects, carried out all over the world, encourage reflection about the dynamics leading to the current crossroads, but also invite us to consider the paths open to us for action, change and solidarity.
