A motorist in Mondercange was caught driving without a valid licence on Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, in Marnach, a car and a motorcycle collided.

On Tuesday afternoon, the police received reports of a reckless driver. A police patrol found the motorist at a car park in Mondercange, but he attempted to flee when he spotted the officers. The police were able to apprehend and immobilise him. Aside from testing positive for both alcohol and other illicit substances, authorities discovered that the man had been prohibited from driving for almost a year. The car as well as a small quantity of drugs were seized, and the driver fined.

An accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred at a roundabout in Marnach at around 4.15pm on Tuesday. The police report that the driver of the car was blinded by the sun and was thus unable to spot the motorbike in time. The latter was admitted to hospital with hand injuries.

At around midnight, a drunk driver crashed into a wall on Avenue J-F Kennedy in Ettelbruck and kept on driving. When he was pulled over shortly afterwards by the police, he had to hand over his driving licence.
