The Acape’lla Festival, which takes places every two years and started in 2016, started on Thursday and ends on Sunday.

Only a capella groups are allowed to participate, and genres span classical all the way to pop and jazz.

The festival has also extended beyond the Grand Duchy’s border, with internationally renown London-based group “The Swingles” performing at the event.

The Swingles took up the mantle from their predecessors the “Swingle Singers”, a group formed by American-born Ward Swingle in 1962 in Paris.

With a growing repertoire and a constant emphasis on creative innovation, the group puts out music digitally - taking advantage of modern mixing desks - as well as touring across the globe.

Aside from professional acts, the festival also offers masterclasses where everyone was free to sign up- After another successful venture, Cape cultural centre looks hopefully towards the future.
