Starring Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell, aka the Red Viper in Game of Thrones and Javier Peña in the Netflix hit, Narcos),The Mandalorian is leaning hard into Space Western territory with this tale of a lone bounty hunter navigating the chaos in the wake of the Empire’s collapse.
Favreau has some good form with this type of thing, having directed the hit Iron Man and also being involved in many of the successful Avenger films with Marvel.
Disney+ will include in its streaming library classics from 1937 to present day, including “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Aladdin,” and “Moana.” The service will also feature Disney Channel shows like “Lizzie McGuire” and “Duck Tales.”
