The draw for this weekend’s Davis Cup matches was held at midday. Luxembourg’s top player, Chris Rodesch (ATP 138), will open the singles on Saturday against Ukraine’s Oleksii Krutykh (ATP 569). In the world rankings, the Ukrainian trails the Luxembourg number one by 431 places.
In the second singles match, Alex Knaff (ATP 687) will face Vladyslav Orlov (ATP 499).
Action continues on Sunday from 11am on with the doubles. Rodesch and Knaff will team up to take on Viacheslav Bielinskyi and Oleksandr Ovcharenko. Even if the tie has already been decided by then, Rodesch is expected to play against Orlov, while Knaff may still contest the final singles match against Krutykh.
