Luxembourgish sprinter Patrizia van der Weken finished third in the 100m at Friday evening’s Diamond League meeting in Doha.

Patrizia van der Weken delivered a strong performance in Doha, clocking 11.05 seconds to secure third place at the prestigious Diamond League meeting. Her time was just five hundredths of a second slower than her personal best, which also stands as the current Luxembourgish record.

Victory in the women's 100m went to Jamaica's Kemba Nelson, who crossed the line in 10.88 seconds. Italy's Zaynab Dosso finished second in 11.01 seconds.
