Ruben Querinjean will represent the Grand Duchy in the 3,000m steeplechase final in Birmingham this weekend. He secured his place in the final with a time of 8:35.07 during Thursday's heat, coming in fourth. The first eight runners in every heat qualified for the final.
The 24-year-old, voted Luxembourg's Athlete of the Year, has consistently finished in the top positions.
The final takes place at 9.50pm Luxembourg time on Sunday evening.
