The Winter Olympics begin in February, and the Luxembourg Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL) is working at full speed, as the exact composition of the Luxembourgish delegation is yet to be confirmed.

COSL’s technical director, Raymond Conzemius, explained in an interview that they currently expect athletes to compete at two sites: WWe are anticipating one athlete each in Cortina and Bormio. Each requires three support staff due to the technical complexity of skiing: a technician, a trainer, and a team manager. COSL will also be represented by two members at each site, and of course, a physiotherapist will be present at both locations. This is the full team we plan to accompany the athletes, on whom we are currently relying.”

In theory, Matthieu Osch and Gwyneth ten Raa, both competing in alpine skiing, could represent Luxembourg in Italy, just as they did in China four years ago. However, the final decision is expected only at the end of the month.
