FC Differdange, the reigning Luxembourg Cup winner, has confirmed to RTL upon enquiry that Sébastien Thill is set to sign a two-year contract with the club.
Thill, a Luxembourg national team player, has been competing in Poland's top division with Stal Rzeszów since 2023. During his time there, he made 80 appearances and found the net 14 times. Prior to his stint in Poland, he spent one season with FC Hansa Rostock in Germany's second tier.
In a separate development concerning the club, striker Artur Abreu, who scored seven goals for the vice champions last season, has sustained a severe shoulder injury and is expected to be sidelined for two to three months.
