Luxembourg-based athlete Jeanne Lehair placed eighth at the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) event in London. Following the race, the triathlete sits fifth in the overall WTCS standings.

All of the world's leading contenders were at the starting line in London. A strong performance in the swim allowed Lehair to join a small group at the front during the cycling leg.

However, the group was caught halfway through the bike course, meaning the race was ultimately decided during the running stage. Lehair managed to retain her place in the top ten and crossed the finish line in eighth.

Three races remain in this season's WTCS calendar, including the World Championship Finals, giving her further opportunities to move up the standings.
