“It’s a privilege to be invited into such a competitive environment, ... and I’m grateful to Luxembourg Rugby for supporting this opportunity. I’m looking forward to bringing back knowledge and experience that will help continue building our national teams.”
James Kent

Luxembourg Rugby announces that James Kent will join one of Europe’s leading rugby programmes, Las Leonas, for their crucial qualification campaign, and will contribute to on-field coaching, opposition analysis, and match preparation. He is set to primarily work as a coaching assistant and technical analyst.

A nationally recognised coach, Kent has been instrumental in advancing playing structures, team culture, and player development within Rugby Europe Conference, particularly following last year’s relegation. His analytical approach, game-management knowledge, and dedication in developing players across the pathway aided athletes’ improvement nationally and internationally.

Kent’s appointment highlights the increasing recognition of Luxembourgish coaching talent and demonstrates the growing collaboration and exchange of expertise across European rugby.

This collaboration will not impact Luxembourg’s seven teams, as Kent will continue supporting Luxembourg’s international preparations.
