Gerson Rodrigues's brief spell in North Macedonia has come to an end just three months after he joined the country's most successful club.
The 31-year-old striker was unveiled by Vardar Skopje at the beginning of June, but by early September his time at the club was already over. His departure had appeared increasingly likely after he had not featured in the squad since 9 August.
On Thursday, Rodrigues confirmed in an Instagram story that he and the club would be going their separate ways at his request.
The Red Lions striker did not reveal where he plans to play next.
