The club announced on Tuesday that Marques, who has been assistant coach since the summer, takes over with immediate effect. The 44-year-old previously played for US Esch and Union Titus Pétange.
He will be supported by Gianluca Bei, a former Differdange player who retired this summer after helping the club win the cup last season. Joao Martins completes the staff.
FC Differdange 03 are set to play Bissen away in the third round on Sunday. Resende, meanwhile, was introduced as the new head coach of Virton on Monday.
