Race driver Dylan Pereira was a contestant at the Porsche Supercup. He was crowned sportsman of the year at the Mondorf Casino 2000 on Saturday. Steve Jans came second while Steve Fernandes came third.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel was also present for the award ceremony.

Each year, the winner of the prestigious award is determined by the Luxembourg Motorsports Writers Association, members of ACL's commission for sports, and an online voting of the general public.
