Chris Rodesch will face Coleman Wong from Hong Kong in the qualifying rounds of the fourth Grand Slam tournament of the year. The Luxembourger, currently ranked 159th in the world, sits 18 places higher in the ATP rankings than his opponent.
At the last Grand Slam at Wimbledon, Rodesch successfully came through qualifying to reach the main draw.
It is not yet known when exactly the 24-year-old professional will play his opening match.
The first main draw matches will take place on 24 August, with the women’s final scheduled for 6 September and the men’s final on 7 September.
