Wimbledon qualifying got under way on Monday, with Luxembourg's Chris Rodesch beginning his bid to reach the main draw, which starts on 29 June.
The Luxembourg number one recovered from losing the opening set to defeat France's Florent Bax 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 in the first round.
Rodesch will now face Serbia's Dušan Lajović in the second round. Lajović competed in the Wimbledon main draw last year.
