During the "Regio-meeting" at the National Sports and Culture Centre Coque, athletes proved their skills in various disciplines.
Patrizia van der Weken ran the fastest time on the 60m track. With a time of 7.7 seconds, the Luxembourger beat the time recorded by the German athlete Judith Franzen by 0.36 seconds. Franzen was followed by Camille Geng of Celtic, who was awarded third place.
In the B-final, Anais Bauer won with a time of 8.02 seconds. Bauer, the CAL Spora (CSL) runner, overtook Nike Stahnke from Germany and Celtic's Hannah Kramer from Luxembourg.
In the 60-meter hurdle dash, the French Shana Cubrilovic beat Hannah Schwind from Germany and Dorothee Mengolo Mvotto from CSL.
In the 400m discipline, Germany's Luise Pecht came first, leaving Elisa Romero from Luxembourg and Emma Philippe from France behind her. Pecht and Romero recorded their best indoor times with 56.18 and 57.74 respectively.
After Bob Bertemes concluded his career, other athletes have tried to prove their talents in shot put. At the Euro-meeting, Lex Damit from CAPA ranked first after scoring 12.68m with his shot. Steve Weiwert and Claude Godard followed him closely in the ranking with respective throws of 11.48m and 10.13m with Weiwert reached his personal best.
In the women's shot put competition, Katharina Schiele from Germany won with 13.59m, and the strongest Luxembourgish female athlete performance was by Florence Rausch, who ranked at fourth place with 8.96m.
Lastly, in the category of high jump, Julie Crane from CSL achieved her personal best and won with a height of 1.72m. She was closely followed by Mia Bourscheid and Hannah Schwind.
