Following RM Hamm Benfica's announcement of renaming the club to FC Luxembourg City on 10 May, the club has now presented its new crest.

Officials from the football club took to social media to describe the crest as an important step towards a new beginning. They further explain that the badge combines elements from the club's past and future aspirations as the "club of the capital's districts".

The new crest accordingly displays many references to the fusions that have marked the club's history, including the form and colours from FC Hamm 37 and the flag from FC Mansfeldia Clausen. Furthermore, it includes the ball from FC Rapid Neudorf and the blue colour from FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach.

The main colour of the crest is red, however, and designed to represent RM Hamm. Finally, the badge also includes the Clausen bridge, an essential connection between the Luxembourg City districts of Clausen, Hamm, Neudorf, and Muhlenbach.

Club officials further announced that they changed their motto to "We from the City".
