RCL lost 26-29 to Pforzheim on Saturday in front of a sizable crowd enjoying the late summer weather at Cessange.
After a long break away from the whitewash, RCL started strong, racing into a 13-0 lead with an early try from Captain Ntsolo Setlaba and three kicks (1 conversion, 2 penalties) from Baptiste Lachaise -- but the Germans fought back to lead 16-17 at the break.
You can see some of the match highlights here.
A James Wheeler try midway through the second half looked to put RCL in a strong position to gain a victory, but Pforzheim broke Luxembourgish hearts with two second half tries.
Here is a post match interview with Setlaba.
The squad will look to bounce back immediately when they travel to Neuenheim for a 3pm kick off this coming Saturday the 11th.
New players are always welcome, the first and second team train Mondays and Wednesdays at Boy Konen, Cessange at 7.30pm.
