Formed in late 2023 by singers, songwriters and multi instrumentalists Oli Fox and Scott Verrill, Good Neighbours have quickly become one of the most talked about new acts in British indie pop.
Their breakthrough came with debut single Home, which went viral on TikTok in early 2024 before climbing into the UK Top 30, Australia’s Top 20 and even the Billboard Hot 100. The song has since racked up more than 450 million streams on Spotify, introducing the duo’s uplifting and cathartic sound to a global audience.
Follow up singles including Keep It Up, Ripple and Suburbs helped cement their reputation for euphoric indie pop, while industry recognition soon followed. The band received a Brit Awards Rising Star nomination and were included on the BBC Sound of 2025 longlist. Their live reputation has also grown rapidly, with appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, as well as touring alongside Mumford & Sons and Foster the People.
Good Neighbours released their debut album Blue Sky Mentality in September 2025. The record features the single People Need People, which premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and celebrates friendship, connection and solidarity. Alongside tracks such as found u/me and their cover of The La’s classic There She Goes, the album captures the duo’s blend of optimism, emotion and big singalong energy.
