In case you missed our selection of tunes for you to lend an ear to, here they are.

We share a weekly list of songs (nominally 5 and on a Wednesday.... Monday’s are too beige) that we think you may like...and if you are new to us as a station, ones that might want to you listen to us regularly....

Steps was not paid per mention of atmospheric...he was rushed and freewheeling it.

Thunder Jackson - Heart Attack

Heart Attack leans into high-gloss drama. It’s pulsing pop production wrapped around romantic chaos. The video promo amplifies this intensity with its stylised visuals and a sense of emotional freefall.

There’s confidence here, but also vulnerability under the surface. It’s a great track for any time of the day.

For fans of: The Weeknd’s darker cuts, glam-pop theatrics, emotionally charged late-night playlists.

Lykke Li - Lucky Again

Lykke Li returns with something restrained and reflective, deciding to keep things intimate, allowing the melody to breathe and the lyrics to carry the weight.

It’s hopeful, but carefully so. It’s another solid cut from an artist who was once in danger of being known for one song. True Lykke fans are all to aware of her talents.

For fans of: Lana Del Rey’s quieter moments, Phoebe Bridgers’ introspection, sparse Scandinavian pop.

Chartreuse - Heaven Sent*

This is for those that like a few slices of atmospheric indie. Space, tension, and subtle build make it quietly powerful.

It’s the kind of tune that you can have a secret, silent sob to.

It’s delicate without feeling fragile. *the below is the ‘live’ version, as there is (as at time of publishing) no official video promo.

For fans of: London Grammar, Daughter, early The xx.

Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten & Kae Tempest - Flags

Part of the HELP(2) project, Flags feels urgent without being loud. Albarn’s melody, Chatten’s weighty delivery, and Tempest’s spoken-word clarity create something atmospheric and pointed.

It’s less about hooks, more about mood and message.

For fans of: Gorillaz deep cuts, Fontaines D.C., politically minded alt-pop.

Cailin Russo - Bad Things

Sleek, sharp and slightly dangerous, Bad Things plays with temptation and control. The video leans into shadowy glamour, matching the song’s push-and-pull dynamic.

It’s confident pop with a darker edge. Plus that underlying bass is to die for.

For fans of: BANKS, early Halsey, alt-pop with bite.
