Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy returns to the Grand Duchy on 20 May, bringing his signature blend of folk, soul, and pop to the stage at Rockhal.

He is mostly known for his singles Outnumbered and Power Over Me, and his 2020 single Gianta, which have gained widespread attention upon release and have hundreds of millions of streams.

After building momentum with a series of singles and EPs, Dermot Kennedy released his debut studio album, Without Fear, in late 2019. The record brought together many of his earlier songs, with some originally written and released up to eight years before the album debuted.

In total, he's released 3 albums, with the latest, The Weight of the Woods, having come out in April. It has also gained widespread attention, with songs such as Funeral, Turnstile and Refuge having been streamed millions of times around the world.

What sets Dermot Kennedy’s live performances apart is his distinctive emotional and soulful voice which brings an intimate atmosphere to every show. Combined with lyrics that explore personal struggles and vulnerability, his concerts often feel both powerful and profoundly comforting.
