Kulturfabrik has finally revealed the full lineup for the Out Of The Crowd festival in Esch-sur-Alzette on 24 April, ending the suspense that’s been building since December.

The Out Of The Crowd festival is an annual music and arts event that has been organized by Kulturfabrik for over 20 years, dedicated to the alternative music landscape, particularly indie rock, with a focus on shoegaze, post-punk, and gritty, grunge-leaning acts.

The newly announced lineup features L.A Witch, Ulrika Spacek, Meule, and Kowloon Walled City, who will share the stage with renowned artists and bands like A Place To Bury Strangers, Ditz, Hyper Gal, and many more.

L.A. Witch (USA)

L.A. Witch is an American rock band known for their dark, hypnotic blend of garage rock and psychedelic influences. Originally from Los Angeles, they have gained acclaim for their raw, atmospheric sound and captivating live performances, mixing elements of classic 60s garage and surf rock with post‑punk and darker influences to create a gritty and immersive sound.

Ulrika Spacek (UK)

Ulrika Spacek is an alternative/indie rock band known for blending psychedelic rock, art‑rock, shoegaze and experimental textures into a layered and atmospheric sound. Their music often combines swirling guitars, eerie melodies and song structures that are more unconventional for indie rock.

Their latest album EXPO, released on February 6, 2026, is their fourth full‑length record and explores themes of modern life and digital isolation, blending jittery rhythms and hypnonic guitar solos.

Meule (France)

Another addition to the festival is the French experimental rock trio Meule, which blends krautrock, psych‑garage and electronic elements with dual drums and guitar.

They are very experienced on the festival circuit, having played at renowned events such as Trans Musicales de Rennes, which will make them a perfect fit for the funky atmosphere of the festival.

Kowloon Walled City (USA)

Some bands go for sheer volume — Kowloon Walled City go for pressure.

The rather unknown San Francisco group build their songs out of slow, grinding riffs and stripped-back rhythms, letting the tension sit in the room before anything finally breaks. It’s heavy, but in a patient, almost unsettling way, making it a perfect addition to this year’s lineup.

If you’re into indie or rock, this is absolutely worth checking out! Since most of these bands are quite low-profile and unknown, OOTC is likely your only chance.
