Customs officials had a successful day last Wednesday after stopping a 21-year-old coming from Rotterdam. The woman was found to have 1.6 kilograms of heroin in her car when she was stopped near Hayange on the A31 motorway.
According to Lorraine media sources, the woman had hidden the drugs behind her registration plates. The woman has also already been sent to prison despite having a previously clear criminal record.
