“A boy is having fun decapitating kittens on Snapchat, can you do something?”, a young woman posted on Twitter, calling out the national police in Moselle on Wednesday.
The young man in question lives in the Saint-Avold district of Freyming-Merlebach, reports France Bleu.
On the video sent to the Saint-Avold police station, a person can be seen cutting up a dead cat with a knife. The police also received screenshots of messages sent by the young man to other individuals in which he explained that he had fired a lead bullet into the head of his cat before butchering it.
According to the messages sent to the police, the young man justified his gruesome act by saying that his cat had been misbehaving in his flat. The young man also boasted that he was a professional, stating that he “liked to cut up”.
The report was recorded by the police station of Saint-Avold, which should follow up on the case this Thursday morning, says France Bleu. The original tweet has been shared 13,000 times.
