Every year, the Walygator amusement park, located in Maizières-les-Metz near the Amnéville leisure area, organises a recruitment day prior to the opening of the new season.

The park will open its doors from 10 April, ending the season after the frightening Halloween period, on 1 November.

300 new positions are available: interested parties are invited to come to the park on 8 February at 1pm with their CV and a motivation letter. The roles available range from reception hosts to catering employees and attraction managers. There’s even an opening for someone to don the costume of Waly, the mascot.

In short, for seasonal workers, there are places to take in all sectors. Training sessions will be included.

In its press release, the park said it was looking for talents, know-how and qualities essential to evolve properly in the park. Employees joining the team must respect the “Smile, Hello, Goodbye and Thank you” method when welcoming visitors. Future employees will ideally also be autonomous at their posts without forgetting that they are part of a team.

Walygator has belonged to the Luxembourg group Continental Leisure Project since 2016.

Put into receivership in 2013, the park has since regained success with visitor numbers which increased by 20% in 2018.
