Just across the border, on the A31 from Thionville towards Luxembourg, two vehicles collided. One of the motorists was ejected from the car and did not survive the crash.
In another car crash on the A31, from Luxembourg towards Thionville, another person was killed. The accident occurred around 8.30am near Entrange in France. According to information from the Républicain Lorrain, three motorcycles were driving behind one another. One of them rode into the verge of the road and consequently fell off his bike. He was already dead when emergency services arrived at the scene.
The highway had to be closed temporarily.
