
Tragedy struck this Tuesday morning around 9.20am in Eschwege, Hesse. Three people were fatally injured during maintenance work on the “Sender Hoher Meissner” transmission tower when their gondola crashed from 50 meters height.
Police spokesman Jörg Künstler told the German Bild that the three male workers did not survive the impact. Five to six eyewitnesses are receiving psychological support.
The Office for Occupational Safety and Security of the regional council Kassel launched an investigation, police said.
