Last Wednesday, 19-year-old Taylor Smith stood accused before a Clark County judge of recklessly pushing her then 16-year-old friend Jordan Holgerson off a high bridge.
The victim has suffered serious injuries when she hit the water surface, including broken ribs and a punctured lung.
The incident had been filmed and the footage quickly went viral on various social media and video platforms.
The verdict was now rendered: Smith needs to spend two days behind bars and pay a $300 fine. She was also sentenced to 38 days of community service and she is not allowed to contact the victim for two years.
