Executive Secretary of UN Climate,Patricia Espinosa described the Fridays for Future demonstrations and other manifestations for climate protection as an inspiration for participants of the conference.

The Bonn Climate Change Conference will serve, among other things, to prepare the UN Climate Summit in Santiago de Chile in December.
Things are supposed to get moving, as promises by all countries aren’t enough to reach the goals set out by the Paris Climate Agreement whose aim is to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
