
The holidays are beginning for some and ending for others in France today. That means drivers heading to and from the mountains for their ski holidays will be crossing over, leading to heavy traffic in all directions.
France is divided into three different schooling zones, each having different dates for school holidays.
The Meuse gendarmerie confirmed that “the three school zones will be on the roads at the same time” this Saturday.
Traffic should be particularly bad in eastern France around Lyon in the direction of the Alps. However, things should calm down by Sunday.
