Luc Frieden will attend multiple events in Paris on 13 and 14 July, participating in the French national day celebrations, invited by France's president Emmanuel Macron.
Prior to the festivities, he will attend a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing," made up of state and government leaders, on Monday 13 July. The heads of state will discuss support for Ukraine and improving security of the European Union. Frieden will also attend a meal with other leaders, presided over by Macron.
On 14 July, Bastille Day, Frieden will participate in the traditional military parade on the Champs-Élysées. This year's celebrations carry the motto "Le réveil stratégique de l'Europe", or "Europe's strategic awakening".
