Part of a body was discovered in the Vosges region on Sunday following a large-scale search initiated following the confession of Nomexy resident, who had told police that he had killed and dismembered a man who must have been in his thirties.
Part of a body has been found in a disused factory in Nomexy. The public prosecutor, Nicolas Heitz, explained that it was very likely that this was the victim. He added that tests were underway to confirm this suspicion.
Following his confession, the man in his fourties was placed in detention, where he remains currently, and he is likely going to be presented to the examining magistrate on Monday.
