Currently, 23 people are considered as COVID positive in the region, 11 in the district and 12 in the city of Trier.
One patient is still in receiving hospital treatment. The low number of new infections over the last few days is being put down to compliance with hygiene, distance and contact regulations.
As the BBS-EHS Trier (Berufsbildende Schule für Ernährung, Hauswirtschaft und Sozialpflege) has informed, on class is currently in quarantine because a student has tested positive for COVID 19.
Also in quarantine are classmates who had contact with the student.
According to the BBS-EHS, the teachers of the school are not currently in quarantine, as they have not been classified by the health department as first-degree contact persons.
Students in quarantine are taught regularly according to the timetable via SDUI, a comprehensive app for communication and e-learning from home,
Parallel classes will continue to be taught in classrooms, the school has said.
