The accident occurred around 6pm, reports Républicain Lorrain.
The accident occurred on the departmental road D9 which connects Rosselange to Clouange. The man lost control of his motorcycle shortly before a roundabout, hit a guardrail and was thrown 50 metres through the air.
Help arrived too late, and he succumbed to his injuries.
