The perpetrator poured a fire accelerant on the radar in two spots and then lit the fire. The radar was substantially damaged, with the cost of the damage allegedly laying at a five-figure mark.
The Schweich police department is seeking witnesses due to the significant damage caused by the fire. Anybody who may have seen something should contact the police either by calling 0049 6502/91650 or emailing pastschweich@polzei.rlp.de.
