This Sunday 23 June, a man was injured in a violent altercation in a Metz neighbourhood, said Le Républicain Lorrain.
At around 5.40 pm, a 37 year old man was injured by a firearm on place du Marché de Borny and he was taken to the Mercy hospital.
The attacker apparently returned to the location following an initial altercation with the victim.
Several shots were fired. One of them hit the arm of the victim.
An investigation has been opened and the victim will be questioned by the police, who are looking for witnesses.
