According to L’Ardennais, the man experienced a turn of rage in attempting to suddenly escape the bus travelling on the motorway. He was angrily punching and headbutting the window of the backdoor of the bus, managing to break the window and tumble out, falling onto the motorway.
The man then fled the bus, but not long after, was hit by a car. Whilst not seriously injured, the man was taken to Reims’ hospital.
The remaining passengers of the bus, all rather shocked, had to wait for the window to be repaired before continuing their journey. An investigation is ongoing.
